You really REALLY gotta read well ahead of the battle, and turn way before you normally would, if you plan to flee, as my teams force me to do so often. So quite often I found myself halfway through a turn and being spotted, then Borodino is in huge trouble, because a broadside hit means massive damage. Maneuverability: Speed is ok, 31 ish knots, but the turning.takes about 1000 meters, or 1km. One CC mentions there's pretty much no flak on Borodino either. There is no AA focus equipment buffs option. you MIGHT shoot down all the tier 6 planes before they drop on you, but not tier 8 and up. And that's the entire secondary armament.ĪA: is ok, not great. If you get close enough to any enemy for them to activate, you're already dead, because Borodino CAN'T get close to enemies. there are TWO x 180mm rear of superstructure secondary turrets, that DO NOTHING, EVER. Gets a few citadels, every battle is hit and miss though, not consistent, 30k dmg one game, 100k dmg the next. Main guns: good groupings firing long distance, you would mostly shoot AP looking for those broadside targets. Been detonated once in 17 games, Georgia took 80% of my HP in one salvo. And it's painful and bad.Īrmour: is typical of a russian BB or high tier cruiser, ice breaker bow, good torpedo protection in centre of hull, catches fire a lot. Stopping now at 17 random solo battles, as it's taken my entire day off work to play it. I paid for it, so you don't have to waste your money.
